Hi, I’m James Dickson, the owner and lead renovator at Lucky Duck Renos. With over 10 years of experience in tile installation and bathroom renovations, I’ve had the privilege of transforming countless bathrooms into beautiful, functional spaces. I’m still learning and perfecting my craft, but I’ve built a reputation for prepping and installing with precision to achieve the look and feel my clients desire.

I hold an Honours Physics degree from McMaster University, and while I’m not solving equations anymore, the attention to detail, problem-solving, and commitment to quality that I learned there are at the heart of my work. Whether I’m working on a complex tile pattern or ensuring a flawless bathroom renovation, I approach every project with the same meticulous care.

When I’m not working on transforming bathrooms, I’m at home with my wife (we got married in October!) and our loyal dog, Mika. We love spending time together, and Mika always keeps me on my toes. She’s a reminder to enjoy life, even when the job is tough.
